Renew your loans

Books can be renewed a maximum of 3 times. Each loan is for 28 days unless otherwise specified. Books cannot be renewed if they are very overdue or reserved by another library member.

To renew your loans please:

Renew online – The first time you renew online you will need to activate your library account. To do this, click on the renew online link at the beginning of this paragraph and follow the instructions in the ‘Activate your account section”. You will need access to the email address that is registered to your library account. A library account also allows you to see all your loan history, details of your current loans and any reservations.
Self-service machine – log in to your account by scanning your library card. Select the renew option to view your loans and see your renewal options.
